A Breakfast You Can Make in 5 Minute

When you are staying in a pg or shared apartment in a fast paced city like Mumbai; there is always a rush to reach your office or college on time. Especially with the long commuting hours; and never ending traffic. In this situation; it becomes difficult to have a spread at your breakfast table but it is entirely possible to have a healthy and nutritious breakfast you can make in 5 minutes before heading out for the day.

Here’s the recipe of a simple, nutritious breakfast you can make in 5 minutes.

MASALA OMELETTE

Masala Omelette is a delicious omelette that is really quick and easy to whip up. Flavored with vegetables, and garam masala, this omelette is deliciously fluffy, and perfect for breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 small onions
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 1/2 medium green chilli
  • 1/2tsp garam masala
  • 2 eggs
  • 1tbsp fresh coriander

Method

  1. Heat 1 tbsp. of vegetable oil in a non-stick frying pan and add the onion, 1 medium tomato and 1/2 medium green chilli, chopped. Cook for 2-3 minutes until soft. Add 1/2 tsp garam masala and fry for a further minute.
  2. Beat 2 eggs together in a small bowl and season. Add the egg mixture to the pan and swirl the pan until the omelette mixture is cooked underneath.
  3. Carefully flip the omelette over and cook for 1-2 minutes, until golden. Scatter with 1 tbsp. of fresh coriander.

Serve it with toasted bread, a cup of tea and start your day in a healthy manner.
